MEDICAL CO2 (CARBON DIOXIDE): WHY ?
Thermal shock” is the key to the effectiveness of cryotherapy. However, it can only be created with cold below -60°. Naturally, this type of cold does not exist, and cannot be produced without gas, so it is not possible to be effective without consumables. The recommended gas is liquid medical CO2, which expands in air to produce a constant temperature of -78°C. Cylinders must therefore be fitted with a DIVING TUBE, as we need to use the liquid phase of the gas.
CO2 is easy to use, pleasant, reliable and handy.
THE STRENGTHS OF CO2
– Physical and chemical properties to enhance your practice and patient comfort: The gas is pure, dry and bacteriostatic. It is therefore very comfortable to use around wounds or after surgery, in total asepsis and without tissue softening.
– Storage: Cylinders should be stored in a dry place, away from sources of heat (balneo-radiators). It is neither flammable nor dangerous.
– Eco-responsibility: the CO2 used comes from recycled combustion. It is purified and cleaned before being compressed into our cylinders. As a result, there is no pollution when using the technique.
LOGISTICS
In France, we offer two types of cylinder: standard 10-kilogram CO2 cylinders and smaller cylinders (1 to 2 kilograms) for portable use. All cylinders are refillable. Cryonic medical’s logistics service is extremely efficient: we are able to deliver all over France within 48-72 hours, taking back empty cylinders. Cylinder traceability is verified, and cylinders are regularly reconditioned.
You can order your cylinders at gaz@cryonic-medical.com
Abroad, CO2 is available from all gas suppliers. Cryonic Medical works with a number of local distributors who provide advice to users.
TRAINING CLOSER TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS
In France, Cryonic Medical has set up a training program for users of its equipment, so that they can optimize the use of NCS and offer it to their patients in the most appropriate way. Professional gesture and knowledge enhancement are fundamental to the use of this technique.
In mainland France, a half-day training course is offered by a Neurocryostimulation specialist, with the following program:
– A reminder of the principles of NeuroCryoStimulation, how it works and its effects.
– Understanding and defining the types of pathologies treated.
– Practical applications and technical gestures – treatments on patients.
A course certificate is issued following the half-day training session. Training can be provided at Cryonic Médical’s headquarters in Besançon (25000-FR), at your premises or at specialized NCS centers throughout France.
FOR TRAINING ABROAD
International partners are present in many countries and are accredited by Cryonic Medical to offer training to their customers who use the NeuroCryoStimulation technique. Certificates are issued by Cryonic Medical at the end of the course.
Many patients ask us for the contact details of practitioners trained in our technique, so our list is regularly updated! What’s more, a network of healthcare professionals by specialty, who have been using NCS for many years, is at your service to answer any special requests you may have.
THE QUALITY SYSTEM
Every year, a certifying body inspects companies manufacturing medical devices. They must comply with European medical standards and meet the requirements of current directives and regulations.
Thanks to the rigor of its system, its team and the commitment of each partner, Cryonic Medical has several certifications and approvals to enable it to sell its medical devices on different international markets and in all hospitals:
– Certification: ISO 9001 – ISO 13485
Don’t hesitate to check the CE Medical mark on the equipment you use. In the event of an incident, your insurer will ask you to do so.
